Gunthwaite and Ingbirchworth Parish Council

Gunthwaite and Ingbirchworth parish is centred around the villages of Gunthwaite and Ingbirchworth to the west of Barnsley. It has a population of 600.

Meetings are held every six to eight weeks on a Wednesday at 7:30pm, in the first-floor function room of The Fountain, Ingbirchworth. This room can only be reached via stairs. If you want to attend a meeting but due to mobility issues cannot use stairs, please contact the Clerk in advance.

  • Summer Ford picnic site
  • Woodland at Brown's Edge (former quarry)
  • Sandbeds at New Row Lane
