Our Scheme for Financing Schools sets out the agreement between the council and maintained schools.
It details the provisions schools are expected to adhere to along with best practice. It's advised that any internal control or procedure documents maintained by schools are reviewed and brought in line with the scheme. This is for instances where it's needed and there's a clear reference or link to the scheme.
Section 251 statements
Section 251 statements are the statutory documents required by the Department for Education. This is under section 251 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998.
