The government believes that all councils should publish the data that they hold. This is to make it easier for local people to have a say in local decision making process. It also helps to shape our public services.
Because of this, they've published the local government transparency code to make sure that local people can now see and access data about:
- how we spend our money
- how we use council assets
- how we make decisions
- issues important to local people
This is the data we provide under the local government transparency code 2015.
If you have any questions about the transparency code or published data, please contact us online.
