Notice of application for a new premises licence

Notice is hereby given that application has been made by Kobit-K Limited to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council for A NEW PREMISES LICENCE in respect of:

  • Kobit-K, 40 The Glass Works, Barnsley, S70 1GW

on the following terms:

  • Provision of films, indoors, and provision of indoor sporting events: Sunday to Wednesday from 10am until 1am (the following morning), Thursday to Saturday from 10am until 2am (the following morning).
  • Provision of live music, indoors; Provision of recorded music, indoors; Performances of dance, indoors, Provision of late night refreshment for consumption on the premises: Sunday to Wednesday from 11pm until 1am (the following morning), Thursday to Saturday from 11pm until 2am (the following morning).
  • Supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises: Sunday to Wednesday from 10am until 1am (the following morning), Thursday to Saturday from 10am until 2am (the following morning).
  • Non-standard timings: On the morning BST applied, all licensable activities extended until 3am (the following morning). From 10am until 2am from 31 December until 2 January without interruption.
  • Hours premises are open to the public: Sunday to Wednesday from 10am until 1:30am (the following morning), Thursday to Saturday from 10am until 2:30am (the following morning).
  • Non-standard timings: The premises will close 30 minutes after the end of the non-standard timings identified above.

Any person wishing to make representations about the proposals outlined above can do so in writing to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, PO Box 634, Barnsley, S70 9GG or licensing@barnsley.gov.uk by midnight of 7 February 2025.
