We work with the NHS to offer advice and disposal of clinical waste from your home.
Healthcare waste from an otherwise healthy person can be disposed of as general household waste. This includes items such as:
- Incontinence pads
- Catheter bags
- Stoma bags
- Syringes which have had their needles removed
- Tubing
- 'Peg' or stomach feeding equipment
This should be bagged and disposed of as general rubbish in the grey bin.
If you have a medical diagnosed infection, any resultant healthcare waste is classified as infectious waste. This may need special treatment. Please contact your healthcare provider to arrange disposal of this waste.
