Temporary traffic restrictionsDetails
An order will be made to introduce the following traffic restrictions on the below roads, from 15th January 2025 for approximately 2 weeks.
- Noblethorpe Lane, Silkstone – Temporary 40mph speed restriction from Pye Greave Farm to Cooper Lane.
- Barnsley Road A628, Hoylandswaine – Temporary 40mph speed restriction from Cooper Lane to Hoylandswaine roundabout.
- Barnsley Road/Noblethorpe Lane A628, Hoylandswaine/Silkstone – Temporary weight restriction prohibiting vehicles over 7.5 tonne from travelling in an easterly direction between Hoylandswaine roundabout and Greave Farm. An alternative route is available via A629/A61.
- Cooper Lane, Hoylandswaine – Temporary road closure from A628 to Green Lane. An alternative route is available via Barnsley Road A628, Barnsley Road C155, Haigh Lane, Cooper Lane.
