The above-named Order will come into effect on 21 November 2024 and is to make permanent changes to waiting and loading restrictions, disabled parking and loading provision, hackney carriage ranks, bus stop clearways and vehicular access into the pedestrian areas in the Barnsley town centre.
The following roads are affected:

- Cheapside
- Eldon Street
- Kendray Street
- Lambra Road
- Market Hill Service Road
- Market Street
- May Day Green
- Midland Street
- New Street
- Peel Square
- Wesley Street
