Details
The above-named order will come into effect on 10 March 2025 and it will:
- reduce the speed limit from national speed limit of 60 mph to 40mph on:
- Manchester Road (A628), Millhouse Green in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 460 metres from a starting point of 150 metres south of the southern kerb line of the B6106 Lee Lane; and
- Lee Lane (B6106), Millhouse Green in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 200 metres starting from a point 273 metres northwest of its junction with A628 Manchester Road.
- reduce the speed limit from 40mph to 30mph on:
- Manchester Road (A628), Millhouse Green from a point 8 metres west of its junction with the western kerb line of Leapings Lane to a point 150 metres south of the southern kerb of the B6106 Lee Lane; and
- Lee Lane (B6106), Millhouse Green in a westerly direction for a distance of 273 metres starting from its junction with the A628 Manchester Road.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of the provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you must before 21 April 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
