Meet boxing champion Callum Simpson at Market Kitchen
Barnsley’s very own boxing champion, Callum Simpson, will be making a special appearance at Market Kitchen for an exclusive Q&A session with fans on Tuesday 29 April.
This highly anticipated event offers a unique opportunity for fans to meet Callum ahead of his monumental European Super Middleweight Title fight at Oakwell, the home of Barnsley FC, in June.
Doors will open at 6pm, allowing attendees to indulge in a variety of food from our exciting range of street food vendors and enjoy drinks from our True North bar.
This will be followed by a Q&A with Barnsley social media personality, Kadie-Leigh Hanlon, before an opportunity to meet and have your photo taken with Callum.
Councillor Robin Franklin, Cabinet spokesperson for Regeneration and Culture said: “It’s fantastic to see Callum Simpson representing Barnsley on such a grand stage.
“We’re thrilled to have him join us in our vibrant town centre ahead of his title fight at Oakwell. We’re very proud of Callum’s achievements and he is very proud of Barnsley.
“This event not only celebrates his achievements but also brings our community together by giving fans an exclusive opportunity to meet him.”
Please note, this event is suitable for ages 12 and up, and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
Tickets are free, but a £5 deposit is required per ticket, redeemable at the bar on the night.
