Get a head start working in health and care with the Adult Skills and Community Learning training course in February.
If you’re interested in working in the health and care sector, but you don’t have the experience to move straight into a role, this course could be a perfect starting point for you.
Our next health and care training course will start on Monday 19 February. The course runs for five weeks. Classes take place five days a week from Monday to Friday, starting at 9.30am to 2.30pm.
One of the learners who took the course last year told us: “I've learnt so much on this course. Things like care values and legislation are important things I didn’t know about. It’s surprising how many of my current skills I’ve been able to use and develop in this training. I wanted to get more on my CV to help me get a job in care and now I can.”
The sessions take place in Barnsley, with classroom activities at Wellington House, Wellington Street, Barnsley, S70 1WA. If you’d like to find out more information, please email AdultLearning@barnsley.gov.uk. Or you can call (01226) 775270.
