Join us at our Breastfeeding Exhibition at the Library @ the Lightbox

Our Infant Feeding team is delighted to showcase the Breastfeeding Exhibition at Library @ the Lightbox, from Monday 7 October to Friday 11 October.

This exhibition is a vibrant celebration of breastfeeding across Barnsley. A series of parents volunteered to share their stories of breastfeeding, and this body of work showcases the beauty of breastfeeding whilst addressing its challenges, painting a rounded picture of their breastfeeding journeys.

There’s something for everyone at our Breastfeeding Exhibition – families are encouraged to join us for a fun crafting session on Thursday 10 October at10am, while businesses can come along and learn how to sign up for our Breastfeeding Welcome Here Scheme on Friday 11 October at 1pm.

In 2023, we launched the Anytime. Anywhere campaign to challenge and change the breastfeeding culture in Barnsley. This week, we’re excited to present the work from phase two of this impactful campaign.

We invite everyone to explore the exhibits on display, which highlight our commitment to supporting, promoting, and protecting breastfeeding in Barnsley. Visitors are encouraged to share their photos from the exhibition on social media by tagging @BarnsleyInfantFeedingTeam on Facebook and using the hashtag #BreastfeedingBarnsley.
