Would you like to develop your skills and gain valuable experience while working? If that sounds like you, come along to the Barnsley Apprenticeship event at Barnsley Football Club. Join us on Tuesday 18 June, from 4pm to 7pm to learn more about how an apprenticeship could work for you.
Come along and connect with local employers from a range of sectors. Meet a range of support services and explore areas like engineering, construction, health care, childcare and more.
You can also learn more about different entry requirements and application processes. There will be information and advice on how to use the National Apprenticeship Service to find vacancies. You can get tips on how to write CVs and applications, with guidance on how to stand out at interviews. There will also be current apprentices who can share their experiences and tips for success.
Matt O’Neill, Executive Director for Growth and Sustainability, said: “Apprenticeships are a fantastic option to consider. They can help people to get started and progress at work, while gaining nationally recognised qualifications.
If you have an interest in learning more about apprenticeships, please come along. This event is suitable for young people and their families. It could be the first step towards a great career.”
