Egg-citing Easter trail coming to Barnsley town centre

Join in the fun in Barnsley this Easter with a trail throughout the town centre.

The trail will start on Saturday 5 April and end on Sunday 20 April, making it the perfect family activity during the school holidays.

Find the nine bunnies hidden in shops, cafés, and museums including The Glass Works, The Victorian Arcade and the Alhambra Shopping Centre.

Each bunny holds a letter and together they spell out an Easter themed word.

Once you discover them all and work out the word, hand in your completed map at the Family Hubs unit on the top floor of Barnsley Markets for a chance to win a prize.

Councillor Robin Franklin said: "These free events are a fantastic way for families to spend time together and see what our fantastic town centre has to offer.

“I encourage everyone to enjoy our brilliant restaurants and leisure activities in The Glass Works and across our town centre while taking part in the Easter trail."

You can collect your free trail map from any of the participating venues.

Mark your calendars and come join us for a wonderful Easter adventure in Barnsley town centre. We can’t wait to see you and your family there!
