We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming Hoyland skills and employability event! Whether you're looking for a fresh start, aiming to grow your skills, or looking to engage with the community, we are here to support your journey.
The event will take place on Tuesday 19 November from 9.30am to 12.30pm, at both Hoyland Library and Hoyland Town Square. Here's what you can expect:
- Explore educational and training programs to enhance daily life or professional skills.
- Discover volunteering opportunities to boost confidence, skills, and abilities.
- Find support services tailored for individuals with learning disabilities, learning difficulties, or autism.
- And much more!
Cllr Robin Franklin, Cabinet Spokesperson for Regeneration and Culture, emphasised the importance of this event, stating: “It’s a wonderful chance to realise what’s possible, seek advice, and build confidence. It's essential for our communities to be aware of the available support to improve skills and employability.
The team has received some great feedback from the events and engagement they’ve had with local communities previously, so I would encourage everyone to discover more about the learning, training and volunteering opportunities that are available."
