Barnsley Council invites couples to tie the knot in one of its beautiful and historic venues, with the help of its professional and friendly registrars. 

We're proud to offer a range of wedding venues and registrars for couples who want to celebrate their love in the borough. Whether it is a grand or an intimate ceremony at the Town Hall or picturesque landscaped gardens and parklands at Cannon Hall, Barnsley has something for everyone. We also provide registrars who can conduct civil ceremonies, partnerships and renewing your vows and offer advice and guidance on the legal aspects of getting married.
