Barnsley Museums have announced new opening times for four of their free heritage attractions across the borough. These changes will take effect from Monday, 8 April.
The new opening times are as follows:
- Cannon Hall Museum, Park and Gardens
Museum opening times;
Easter to Christmas, Thursday to Sunday 11am to 4pm
School holidays Monday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm.
Closed Christmas to Easter.
Park and Gardens open all year round.
- Worsbrough Mill and Country Park
Mill open Thursday to Sunday, 10am to 3pm
Country Park open all year round.
- Elsecar Heritage Centre
Visitor Centre open Monday to Sunday, 10.30am to 3.30pm.
- Experience Barnsley Museum
Tuesday to Friday 10am – 4pm
Saturday, 10am to 3.30pm.

These small adjustments to the Museums opening times will lead to more events and activities during peak times for visitors.
