Our homelessness and housing advice service is on the second floor in Wellington House on Wellington Street, Barnsley, S70 1SN.
For most other services you can visit any of our libraries. Here you can use our online services to:
- Make a payment, such as for Council Tax.
- Apply for a service, such as a new bin or Council Tax Support.
- Make a booking, such as to register a birth.
- Tell us about something, such as a change of address or to report a pothole.
If you have an appointment to see us
If you have an appointment to see us, for example to fill in a Council Tax or benefit claim form, this will be at one of the following libraries:
- Barnsley town centre - Library @ the Lightbox
- Athersley - Roundhouse Library
- Cudworth - Cudworth Library
- Dearne - Goldthorpe Library
- Hoyland - Hoyland Library
- Mapplewell - Mapplewell and Staincross Library
- Penistone - Penistone Library
- Royston - Royston Library
- Wombwell - Wombwell Library
If you have an appointment with a registrar, for example to register a birth or give notice of marriage, this will be at Barnsley Register Office in the Town Hall.
Payments at our offices
We don't accept cash or cheque payments at our libraries or the register office.
