Barnsley SENDIASS
Barnsley SENDIASS is a service for parents, carers and young people, that's designed and led by them. The SENDIASS minimum standards inspire us to do this; to listen to your views and design the future of the service around you.
The standards also expect us to have a steering group, which includes key stakeholders made up mainly of parents, carers and young people. The group should also include people from across the education, health and social care sector.
Our Strategic Management Group is described by families as those who 'drive the SENDIASS bus'. They help to set our direction and make sure we include everyone on board.
