Monk Bretton Park is in the centre of the village, about four miles from Barnsley town centre.

The park is open daily from dawn to dusk.

The park doesn’t have its own car park.

Getting to the park

If you’re travelling by car, you can park next to the library opposite the main park entrance on Lamb Lane. The park doesn’t have its own car park.

If you’re travelling by bus, numbers 31, 57, 58, 58a, and 59 pass near the park, stopping by the Butchers Arms on High Street, about 150m from the main park entrance. The 57 runs most frequently (every 15 minutes).
