Notice of application to vary a premises licence

Notice is hereby given that an application has been made by Rebecca McNicholas to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council to vary a premises licence in respect of The Country Club, 6 The Arcade, Barnsley, S70 2QN on the following terms:

• Provision of live music, indoors: Seven days a week from 5:30pm until 11pm.
• Provision of recorded music, indoors and outdoors: seven days a week from 9am until 2am (the following morning). Outside music only from 5:30pm until 11pm.
• Supply of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises: seven days a week from 9am until 2am (the following morning).
• Premises open to the public: seven days a week from 9am until 2am (the following morning).

Any person wishing to make representations about the proposals outlined above can do so in writing to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, PO Box 634, Barnsley, S70 9GG or licensing@barnsley.gov.uk by midnight 26 May 2025.

• It's an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. A person guilty of this offence is liable on summary of conviction to a fine not exceeding level five on the standard scale.
