Mobile data for people in data poverty
We're working with Good Things Foundation to distribute free SIMs and mobile data to local people living in data poverty. The National Databank scheme is supported by UK mobile networks including Vodafone, O2 and Three.
If you're a Barnsley resident and meet the criteria, you can register your interest to take part. You can also register interest on behalf of other people. If you know someone who would benefit from free mobile data get in touch.
To be able to access the National Databank you must be over 18 years old and from a low-income household. You also need to meet one or more of the following:
- you have no or poor access to the internet at home
- you have no or poor access to the internet away from home
- you can't afford your existing monthly contract or top-up
We reserve the right to deny access to the National Databank if you don't meet the essential requirements.
