Under age sales

There are strict laws that make it illegal to sell certain items to children and young people, which present a real risk to their health and welfare. These include:

alcohol
tobacco
fireworks
knives

It's illegal to sell age-restricted products to people who are below the specified age limit. Traders who do so can be prosecuted.
