School terms and holidays

We set the term dates for all community and voluntary controlled schools.

Voluntary aided schools, trust schools and academies can set their own term dates, these can be found on the relevant school’s website or you can contact the school directly.

Inset or teacher training days

As well as the standard school holidays, each school has five inset days every year, which they agree with their governing body. Your child’s school will let you know what these dates are.
