Safeguarding

We have a statutory duty to produce and share a strategic plan every year.

The plan contains:

  • the board's statutory responsibilities
  • the board's role
  • the board structure

More importantly, it sets out the board's priorities for the year and the actions the board will take to deliver them. It will describe which sub-group is responsible for leading on each area.

The plan allows the board to measure it's progress against each of its priorities which feeds into its annual report.

Both the strategic plan and the annual report are presented at the board meetings. Each of the sub-group meetings for examination by members to see how well the board is performing.
