Ceremonies
Barnsley has a range of beautiful venues for your wedding or civil partnership, from the historic to the modern. Some venues also give you the option to have a twilight or outside ceremony. Whatever you're looking for, you're sure to find the perfect location to make your wedding day special.
Venues need to be licensed to be able to hold weddings or civil partnerships. These are called 'approved venues' or 'approved premises'. When you’re booking your venue you need to make sure that it's licensed.
You need to book your ceremony directly with the venue you choose. You'll also need to book a registrar for your ceremony.
