The foodbanks in Barnsley offer emergency food to people in crisis. To access a foodbank you need to be referred by a local agency who's working with you. They'll give you a voucher number to take to your local foodbank.
Our foodbanks are provided by a partnership made up of the council, Church Action on Poverty (Barnsley), FareShare and The Trussell Trust. Visit the Barnsley Foodbank Partnership website for more information.
Supporting a foodbank
All foodbanks welcome volunteers and donations. Find out how you can support a foodbank.
Other support
Barnsley Churches Drop-In Project provides hot and cold food and drinks for people who are homeless and others who are in need. No referral is needed for their support.
