Adult Skills and Community Learning
Do you ever feel left behind because you don’t have the maths, English or digital skills to manage everyday challenges?
If you do, you might struggle with:
- booking or changing appointments online
- communicating through digital channels with utilities or shops
- completing forms such as for Universal Credit or Council Tax
- managing finances and understanding terminology such as percentages
Our courses in maths, English and digital can help you meet these challenges head on and allow you to remain in control of your everyday life.
Our safe and friendly classes run in Wellington House and in the wider community at a range of centres.
A typical journey starts with a taster session where you get to sample some learning activities and meet our friendly tutors.
You'll then move onto maths, English or digital for five weeks and develop the skills to become a successful learner.
Together we'll establish what it is you need to work on to improve your independence in everyday life tasks.
