The above-named order will come into effect on 31 March 2025 and will introduce a
maximum speed limit of 50 mph on A629 Halifax Road Hoylandswaine from the north
western periphery of the A628 Hoylandswaine Roundabout in a generally north westerly
direction to a point 40 metres northwest of its junction with the southwestern kerb line of
Huddersfield Road, Penistone.

If you wish to question the validity of the order or any of the provisions contained therein on
the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulations Act
1984, or on the grounds that any requirement to the Order or of any instrument made under
it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks from 28
March 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
