Notice is hereby given that the Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council propose to make an Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
The effect of the order will be to introduce a maximum speed limit of:
40 miles per hour:
- On the A616 between Hazlehead and Victoria from a point 147 metres northwest of the intersection with the westernmost junction of Sledbrook Crescent for 955 metres in a south-easterly direction to a point 104 metres south-east of Middlecroft Drive
50 miles per hour:
- On the A616 between Hazlehead and Victoria from a point 94 metres south of the Hazlehead crossroads for 779 metres in a northerly to a point 104 metres south-east of Middlecroft Drive
- On the A616 between Hazlehead and Victoria from a point 147 metres northwest of the intersection with the westernmost junction of Sledbrook Crescent for 279 metres in a north-westerly direction to a point 209 metres south-east of Bedding Edge Road
