Easter Healthy Holiday clubs

Our Easter Healthy Holidays clubs run from Monday 7 to Thursday 17 April 2025.

There are a range of clubs taking place across the borough. Each club includes a range of fun activities for children to enjoy. There are activities such as arts and crafts, gymnastics, team sports, outdoor activities, and more. A healthy meal will be provided too.

Children who receive benefit-related (means-tested) free school meals are entitled to a free place at all the clubs and celebration events. They can attend a club every day (subject to availability of places). Please provide your child's free school meals code when booking a place, if you have this.

Athersley

Momentous Football Academy

Our Holiday Camps is centred around football activities and exercise, but we also include other fun, physical sessions including tag games, bull dog, running games complimented with other creative activities in the break times - quizzes, arts and crafts, design your own sports games and sessions etc.

Grassroots Sports Academy

Multi-sports holiday club who pride themselves on creating a safe, fun and enjoyable experience for all abilities. Children develop and learn skills in a fun environment playing sports, glow in the dark activities, participating in arts and craft activities, healthy eating learning and Easter themed fun.

Grassroots Sports Academy

Dive into the world of esports with our action-packed healthy holiday club! Whether you've played esports before or not at all, our club offers a friendly environment to improve your skills and make new friends. With state-of-the-art equipment, and a variety of games to choose from, be prepared for lots of fun!

Barnsley Premier Leisure

Activities include swimming in the Calypso Cove, bowling and inflatable play. Please make sure each child arrives at the session with appropriate swimming clothing, along with an appropriate change for after the session.

HOPE in Community

Sessions will be looking into goals and dreams. There will be Easter crafts and games as well as a food preparation and physical activities. Children will also be encouraged to document and take away their own goals and dreams.

Barnsley Gymnastics

Come and enjoy fun activities in our gymnastics centre this Easter. Den building, hide and seek, team games, gymnastics activities, fast track, and pit. Test out our obstacle course too!

Grassroots Sports Academy

Fun, safe and enjoyable multi sports holiday club for all abilities. We partner up with a range of different companies to provide experiences children may never had before that vary within a range of different sports and activities. Children will participate in a variety of different sports including dodgeball, football, cricket, capture the flag, and archery tag. As well as this, children will also participate in Zorb activities such as bubble football, bubble bulldog and bubble relays.

Sidcop Active

Come and join us at Sidcop Active for our Easter Healthy Holidays Project. We'll have lots of exciting activities on offer throughout the week, such as outdoor adventures, circus extravaganza, arts and crafts, food preparation and much more exciting activities. A freshly made school standard hot lunch will be provided each day, as well as breakfast and snacks.

Camp Active

Camp Active is a sport and play-based club where your child will engage in a professionally designed program to help them develop confidence, teamwork skills, social relationships and mental well-being whilst having fun. Children will participate in a range of sports, games and crafts while also receiving a free nutritional meal.

Barnsley FC Community Trust in partnership with Barnsley Premier Leisure

Barnsley FC Community Trust and Barnsley Premier Leisure are excited to announce their dual club. This will incorporate an hour of swimming from BPL followed by a sports provision delivered by Barnsley FC Community Trust.

Station House

Station House has an Easter of fun filled activities giving your child a holiday to remember. We start every day with breakfast and then have a range of activities designed to keep even the most active child engrossed. Food, fun and friends, what's not to like?

Active Fusion

Fusion camps offer a range of different sporting activities which focus on developing and improving participants skills. We'll run teambuilding, creative arts, and leadership activities and work with external providers to deliver more diverse sports and activities. The sessions will aim to increase activity levels, encourage teamwork, problem solving and meeting new people in the community. We'll also run workshops which focus on nutrition and healthy eating.

Hoyland

Forge - SEND provision

Dedicated provision that's fun, stimulating, creative and active for all. Supporting children with additional and complex needs through individual and team challenges, developing friendships and exploring the surrounding with Mini Beast and Garden Jungle workshops, food tastings, crafts and many more interest-based activities to make the day an exciting stimulating safe and rewarding time. Delicious fresh meals will be prepared to the needs of children attending being sensitive to any known food allergies along with developing awareness of healthy meal options.

Children and their families are asked to book a pre commencement visit to the camp before the planned first day attendance so that children and staff can be introduced. All about me registrations and permissions slips can be completed along with any special dietary needs etc. to make sure that the camp offer is suitable for the needs of the child and that all parties can then make an informed decision on the attendance.

Cool Kidz R Us

Cool Kidz holiday club is back. Lots of exciting things planned for children aged 5 to 11 years. There will be sports days, nature walks, bouncy castle, model making, musical theatre, skateboarding, basketball, volleyball, tennis, rounders, hula hoops, scooters and pogo sticks. If you want a less energetic day, then there are lots of "quieter" things to do. Arts and crafts, reading, clay modelling, face painting, embroidery and movies are just a few. Playworks holiday club CIC will be providing Easter places as part of the Healthy Holidays programme. We'll be making crafts and trying out new healthy recipes and learning about nutrition. We'll be playing team games and going on nature walks. We provide breakfast and a hot meal.
